Head of Egypt State Information Service (SIS) Ambassador Ismael Khairat said during a visit by delegation of the Vietnamese Ministry of Information and Communications on 15/4/2009 that there are serious and practical steps to strengthen cooperation with Vietnam.

He added that there was an agreement in the views between the Egyptian and the Vietnamese sides on activating cultural and artistic cooperation. Cooperation will include training the personnel on the latest techniques of communication and information technology.
