President Mubarak's speeches in new publication of SIS

asmeil State Information The State Information Service (SIS) issued a documentary book entitled "President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak's Speeches during 2008", including the speeches and interviews of President Mubarak during 2008 on all the national occasions and at conferences in addition to the internal and external interviews.

SIS Chairman Ambassador Ismail Khairat said on 9/5/2009 that this documentary book is invested with special importance for several reasons, first: it represents a comprehensive reference for all those concerned with Egypt's internal and external policy. Second: it is an important source as it monitors all the developments and changes which the interior, regional and international arenas have witnessed during 2008. Third: it offers a definition of the Egyptian stance regarding Egyptian and global issues and the way to deal with them.

Ambassador Khairat described President Mubarak's addresses and speeches as realistic and giving confidence in more success addresses for the Egyptian experiment. They also confirm the march of national action which relies on visions, policies and programs that are aware of the needs of the Egyptian citizen and deal with the requirements of Egypt's national security according to a comprehensive firm strategy.

Concerning the most important indicators in President Mubarak's speeches, the SIS chairman said that the reform march, human rights issues in Egypt, independency of the Egyptian decision and the nuclear energy issue topped the interior priorities. Meanwhile, the Palestinian cause, Iraq's situation, the Sudanese and Lebanese crises as well as the global financial crisis topped the external priorities.
