Nour El-Sherif born on April 28, 1946. He is a contemporary Egyptian actor. His birth name is Mohamed Jaber Mohamed Abdullah.
El-Sherif was born in the working-class neighborhood of Sayeda Zainab in Cairo. It was named after the mosque in which the shrine of Saint Zainab resides.
He graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1967. Actor Saad Ardash gave him a small role in the play El-Shaware El-Khalfiya, "Back Streets". He won his first prize for his role in the movie Qasr El-Shouk directed by Hassan El-Emam.
Nour El-Sherif acted many TV serials topped by "Lan Aaesh Fi Gelbab Abi", Haroun El-Rashid" and "Omar Ibn Abdel-Aziz".
