Transportation Ministry Okays PSCCHC expansion plan

The Ministry of Transportation has approved on Friday 4/7/2008 a proposal by Port Said Container & Cargo Handling Company (PSCCHC) to establish a new cargo wharf over 400 meters of the West of Port Said.

“The ministry gives priority to all projects meant to upgrade Egyptian ports, especially plans by national companies seeking to compete with international counterparts", Minister Mohamed Mansour said.

An affiliate of the Investment Ministry, the PSCCHC is located in the north of the West of Port Said , which  is to set  to provide integrated service needed to attract investments.

It is a national project to upgrade the west and east of Port Said harbours to link the Canal and Sinai governorates, Mansour said.
