Exports of crude oil, petroleum products up by 29.4 percent in June

The volume of exports of crude oil and petroleum products jumped by 29.4 percent in June to 822 million dollars, compared to 635 million dollars in May , said a report by the cabinet Information and Decision Support Centre.

The report said the consumption of petro-products in June increased by 4.9 percent to 2,560,000 tonnes, against 2,440,000 tonnes in May. Egypt's exports of natural gas and its derivatives surged by 12.6 percent in the said period, reaching 341 million dollars, compared to July, the reported showed.

It indicated that the consumption of the clean fuel rose by 2.8 percent to stand at 2,570,000 tonnes.
