Awwad: Mubarak description of Arab situation as

President Hosni Mubarak's description of the Arab World as "at its best" reflects the president's conviction that the prevailing Arab atmosphere is much better than before, Presidential Spokesman Soliman Awwad said on 3/7/2009.

Awwad said that Mubarak's statements on Wednesday underlined progress made by efforts to achieve inter-Arab reconciliation. The president's statements demonstrated Egypt's keenness on closing Arab ranks, he said, adding that the remained disputes among some Arab countries would be soon settled.
