President Mubarak reviews with Saudi Speaker joint cooperation

President Hosni Mubarak received in Cairo Thursday 5/11/2009 Saudi Shura Council Speaker Dr. Abdullah bin Mohamed bin Ibrahim al-Sheikh and his accompanying delegation.

The meeting was attended by Egyptian Shura Council Speaker Safwat al-Sherif, Shura Council's Arab Affairs and National Security Committee Chairman Mohamed Bassiouni and the Kingdom's Ambassador in Cairo Hisham Nazer. President Mubarak reviewed with al-Sheikh cooperation between the two countries in the various fields, especially between the Shura Councils in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Speaking to reporters following his talks with President Mubarak, the Saudi speaker said they probed the latest developments in the region and ways to enhance joint Arab cooperation in all fields. President Mubarak called for the need to expand cooperation between the two countries and among the Arab states, he said. The President also urged cooperation and coordination especially regarding regional and international issues, he added.
