 On the occasion of the successful completion of the first ever multi-candidate presidential election, the management and personnel of Egypt State Information Service (SIS), an agency of the Ministry of Information, would like to express their heartfelt congratulations to the nation on this historic achievement. SIS would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak on his re-election, and all the candidates for their honorable campaigns. This election will rightly be regarded as a landmark in the millennia old political history of Egypt. Moreover, it showed the world that the Egyptian people have the vision, the will and the resources to meet the challenges of every era and firmly grasp the reigns of their political system.
SIS is proud to have been part of the national information and media network that served the Egyptian people prior and during the campaign period and on Election Day.
