Following the appearance and spread of some swine flu infection cases in several states of the two Americas, Egypt adopted several measures for avoiding the occurrence of human causalities. That included all preventive measures and monitoring steps to counter any real or suspected infection case of this flu, besides fueling the storage of Tamiflu vaccines. On the other hand, the Health Ministry decided to examine all passengers coming from Mexico, arranging follow up records for them in all areas and governorates they reside in. This is besides holding training sessions for doctors for providing full information about the disease diagnosis, means of reporting the cases and remedy. The Ministry issued periodical bulletins about the swine flu, which were sent to all the Ministry circles and sectors for acquainting doctors of this phenomenon sides , how to fill in the reports about the cases and send them daily to the Ministry emergency room. Meanwhile, the government took its measures for monitoring and controlling pigs' farms and clinically examining all personnel working in these farms. |
